Step 2 - There may be an "add on" - this is one of our science kits we offer at a discounted price for workshop attendees. It's an optional item for doing science at home.

Step 3 - Depending on what you are booking, you may see a "continue" button or you may see a calendar. If you see the latter then click on the square box next to the calendar displaying how many tickets are left. Choose whether you want to add more events / dates to your booking or if you want to book just this one event, click on the option that is relevant.

A free science class for home-ed children and their families who know how to use a microscope but would like to learn how to prepare samples of their own, an opportunity to practice focusing and identifying what you are looking at.
For this class you will need:
Microscope
Red onion, knife or scissors for cutting onion, forceps
Pipette or syringe
Glass or plastic slides & coverslips
Camera/phone camera
Students’ samples (obtained durng the session) e.g. fibres, hair, mud, pond water,
