Step 1 - If a QUANTITY box is shown, please enter the number of children you're booking in.
Step 2 - There may be an "add on" - this is one of our science kits we offer at a discounted price for workshop attendees. It's an optional item for doing science at home. If you want one, tick the box and we'll bring it to the session. The goodies can be found in our shop: www.devonscience.co.uk/shop
Step 3 - Click on the square box next to the calendar displaying how many tickets are left. Choose whether you want to add more events / dates to your booking or if you want to book just this one event, click on the option that is relevant.
Step 4 - Enter yours and your child's details, read the T&Cs then proceed to payment. We need your email to send you the booking confirmation & reminders. We need your phone number if we need to call you before the session (e.g. we're stuck in traffic!) or during the session (for example in an emergency). Our privacy policy can be found here.

A 3hr lab based session on Monday 19th May for home-ed children aged 11-15 approx. This is a hands-on introduction to equipment and procedures common to the laboratory setting with activities & experiments. 3 hr in the lab, plus a 30 mins break in the middle.
Bring a packed lunch & a hair tie if you have long hair.
Taught by a teacher and laboratory scientist and will be at Petroc College, Old Sticklepath Hill, Barnstaple, EX31 2BQ

A 3hr lab based session on Thursday 24th April for home-ed children aged 10-15 approx with a 30 mins break in the middle.
This is a hands-on experience to really enjoy microscopy, learning how to successfully prepare and view plant, animal, protists, bacteria and crystal samples. This includes staining samples, using oil immersion & darkfield microscopy.
